Quests are Latin exams at Wyoming Catholic College administered for each chapter as part of freshmen and sophomore's studies of Hans Orberg's Lingua Latina. Neither merely a quiz in length nor at the level of a full test, they have been determined as "quests" by Magister to combine the two terms and express their property of in-betweenness with respect to the accident of extension. Quests are typically announced one or two class sessions before they are administered, and occur about once every week and a half to two weeks, corresponding to the conclusion of the study of each chapter in Lingua Latina. Typical questions on each exam include providing grammatical forms, performing short translations, converting one grammatical form into a corresponding or similar one, and matching forms, words, or grammatical associations.
Quest announcements usually include all students shouting "Bum-ba-ba-ba-dum!".
