A class section

A Section at Wyoming Catholic College is a sub-division of a class composed usually of between thirteen and twenty students with the same schedule either for all classes or for a portion of classes during a semester (if different classes have different sizes). A class at WCC is typically divided into either two or three sections which are usually numbered consecutively 100, 200, and 300. Only once in the history of WCC has there yet been a section known as 400, the famed "Powerhouse" of members of the Class of 2023 during the 2019-2020 School Year. Usually students are switched around every semester to form a new section grouping and the school typically separates couples, siblings, and close friends in order to keep certain cliches or friend groupings from dominating and/or replacing the learning experience in a section. Since so much of a student's time is spent with members of his section, section-mates typically end up forming one's closest friends during a given semester anyway, however.
