TACland is a name given, primarily by Wyoming Catholic College students to the region surround ing Thomas Aquinas College in Southern California including the towns of Ojai, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks and Ventura as well as sometimes including in a more metaphorical sense those people, who though they may live elsewhere are yet within its cultural orbit. Many people in this region are part of the homeschooling curriculum Mother of Divine Grace and most of these students go on to attend TAC and are later subsumed into its social and cultural circle. Some, however, manage to escape TAC and attend WCC, with a significant number of current WCC students and professors coming from the region including relatives of current TAC faculty and staff such as John Collins, Aidan Wood, and John Gallaher.
